Showtime’s Shameless is adding another strong woman to its cast. Nebraska Oscar nominee June Squibb has booked a key role on the upcoming seventh season of the Emmy Rossum starrer, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Squibb will recur as Etta, a salty and peppery 80-year-old Southside Chicago woman who has owned the neighborhood forever. Squibb joins a cast that includes fellow new addition Sharon Lawrence (NYPD Blue), who will play Margo, a real estate mogul who owns the coffee shop where Fiona (Rossum) works and who becomes a role model for her.
